Deloras (Cross) Nickerson-Bunstock
CEDAR BLUFFS, Kan. — Deloras Bunstock, 74, died Monday (Sept. 29, 2003) in her home in Cedar Bluffs, Kan. She was born Feb. 9, 1929, to Fred and Pearl (Mosley) Cross at home in Moorefield. She grew up on a farm east of Moorefield and graduated from Farnam High School in 1947. In 1951, she married Gene Nickerson of Farnam. Gene was killed in a farm accident on Aug. 25, 1955. BENKELMAN – Lannie D. Krutsinger, the sixth child of Louis and Doris (Wiggins) Krutsinger, was born Dec. 27, 1963, in Benkelman, his lifetime home, where he grew into manhood. He attended Benkelman Elementary School and graduated in 1982 from Benkelman High School. He was involved in all athletics. His love growing up was being around the equipment and concrete work that was his fathers and later his brothers, Krutsinger Construction Co. BENKELMAN – Marie Helen Talmon, 94, died Friday (Sept. 26, 2003) at Sarah Ann Hester Memorial Home in Benkelman. She was born May 30, 1909, to Joseph and Josephine (Meyers) Svantner in Hazen, Ark. She moved with her family to Nebraska at an early age.  She graduated from high school in St. Paul. In 1930, she married John Micek at St. Paul.  The family moved to Benkelman in 1943, where Marie worked in retail sales for many years. On April 3, 1950, she was united in marriage to John D. Talmon. LOVELAND, Colo. — Irvin D. Hopkins, 77, died Thursday (Sept. 25, 2003) in Loveland, Colo. He was born May 3, 1926, to Bert and Sarah (Blanke) Hopkins in Venango. On Oct. 27, 1952, he married Irene McKain in McCook. He lived in Southwest Nebraska, farming and ranching, most of his life. He was the manager of the Palisade Grain Elevator for 10 years. He retired and moved to Loveland in 1988. He was a veteran of the Navy Sea Bees.
