Grandchildrens' debt Bill Moyers program on Friday night had Peter Peterson as a guest. He’s a wealthy Republican banker on Wall Street, and says Bush is building a debt that our grandchildren will never get out from under. He says the $87 billion for Iraq is just the tip of the iceberg. He also says that the big tax rebate is a joke, and he is ashamed to be getting so much back. He didn’t say he would turn it down, however.
