CEDAR BLUFFS, Kan. — Deloras Bunstock, 74, died Monday (Sept. 29, 2003) in her home in Cedar Bluffs, Kan.
She was born Feb. 9, 1929, to Fred and Pearl (Mosley) Cross at home in Moorefield. She grew up on a farm east of Moorefield and graduated from Farnam High School in 1947. In 1951, she married Gene Nickerson of Farnam. Gene was killed in a farm accident on Aug. 25, 1955. Deloras and her daughters moved to Gothenburg, NE where she worked for Nebraska Public Power District until 1975.
On Dec. 27, 1975, Deloras married Richard Bunstock in Cedar Bluffs, Kan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Theron and Roland; and a niece, little Kay.
Survivors include her husband Richard; three daughters, Candice and husband, Paul Arent of Loveland, Colo., Yolanda and husband, Ron Weimer of Highlands Ranch, Colo., Jackelyn Nickerson and Pete Palek of Cedar Bluffs; one son James and wife, Kerin Bunstock of Lincoln; one sister, Audrey Kotchwar; one brother, Gordon and wife, Gladys Cross; and five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Services are Oct. 11, at her home in Cedar Bluffs. Cremation and dispersale will be private.
